Exposure session – the issue of drug and alcohol use and treatment of addictions according to the model of the therapeutic community for drug and alcohol victims – the duration of the session is about two hours, suitable for up to 50 participants. The purpose of the day is exposure to the existing treatment methods in the village, acquaintance with the tools of the therapeutic community model and with the spirit of the educational approach in the village. During the day there will be a meeting and conversation with a tenant from the village during which he will describe the process from his point of view. A tour of the tenants’ employment and professional training industries can be conducted.
Seminar – information, prevention and treatment – drugs, alcohol and victims of addictions – the meeting includes an explanation of the possible motives for the use of substances from both consciousness, the stages of use and the characteristics of their users. Exposure to the existing treatment methods in the village, familiarity with the tools of the therapeutic community model and with the spirit of the educational approach in the village. Duration of the session 3-4 hours – work in groups of up to 25 participants. During the day there will be a meeting with a multi-professional team on behalf of the village as well as a conversation with the tenant of the place regarding addiction And to the therapeutic process. We will talk about issues such as the relationship between the emotional world and the use of substances from both consciousness, identification and diagnosis, from use to addiction, what is in the intermediate stages? How to help in the early stages? The role of the lender in contact and more… It is also possible to take a tour of the tenants’ employment and professional training industries.
A day with an emphasis on prevention and information – theory and experience
Descriptive – a visit to the Malchishua treatment village with an emphasis on exposure to the world of drug rehabilitation and withdrawal and a meeting with a Malchishua resident regarding the treatment process. Experiential – activity in the challenge park by group assignments, where the goals are to identify poor characteristics (such as: the importance of boundaries, the price of belonging, positive / negative leadership, etc.) during group discussions. Duration 3 to 5 hours – work in groups of 12-20 participants (depending on the age of the participants). All activities are insured and performed by professional and certified instructors in their field.

“Steps to Life” – an exposure workshop for the 12-step method – in the workshop, the group will be exposed under the guidance of a guide from the village to the spirit of the steps. Duration of the workshop – about an hour and a half – two hours. Work in groups of up to 40 participants. The 12-step method is a spiritual approach to creating change and coping with addiction, which was founded and first came into being in 1935 from the world of addicts and has now evolved into a meaningful and touching universal language, offering a method of dealing with emotional and social problems unrelated to addiction. In the workshop, the group will be exposed to a guide from the village to the spirit of steps through individual and group exercises of writing, guided imagery and therapeutic cards, while combining texts and poems inspired by the literature of the step method.
“The Bridge of Strings” – music and improvisation workshop – a group workshop of listening, teamwork and contact and communication through music. Duration of the workshop – about an hour and a half to two hours, working in groups of up to 25 people. During the workshop, the group will experience various exercises from the world of rhythm, improvisation and sounds, through an experiential group meeting that will allow the group to be part of a process of fun and empowering musical creation, without the need for prior knowledge or playing. The workshop is led by a guide from the village, who combines his work as a group facilitator in Malchishua with the world of music and improvisation as an educational / therapeutic tool.
“Mosaic stones” – an experience in the field of decorative art and spectacular in its beauty. Group members will acquire basic knowledge in the craft of mosaic. During the activity, each participant creates a part of an assemblage of group work and at the end, the parts will be attached to one complete work that describes the experience that “the whole is more than the sum of its parts.” The length of the workshop is 2-4 hours and is suitable for groups of up to 25 participants.
“Light in the soul for craftsmen” – art workshops – In the village’s “Urba” workshop, the boys and girls create a wide variety of materials and techniques (painting, mosaic, wood burning, urn decoration, casting urns, building in stone, baking in an oven and more). The urba sits in an orchard and natural grove alongside an ornamental fish pond, choppy water and birds chirping and this is the place for patients to relax, connect to sensations and indulge in the creative process.
“Who did you call an addict?” A musical show about escape, addiction, life choice and a journey to find the way in a world of many possibilities and paths. The show combines songs and personal stories related to the world of addiction, its roots and results. The artist who appears is a guide and veteran group facilitator in the village of drug addicts “Neve Malchishua”. The length of the show + an adaptation talk with the audience is about an hour and a half. The show is suitable for teenagers, education teams and parents of teenagers. A selection of cooking workshops in the field – an experiential, colorful, exciting, empowering and enriching workshop (tasting is already a matter of success). We have at our disposal complexes for operating various cooking workshops, which include all the equipment, means and ingredients required to perform in the field. Duration of activity 2-8 hours. Navigation and survival activities – learning field skills, navigations, lighting fires, field cooking, water storage, etc. Duration of activity 1-4 days. Abseiling / Cliff Surfing – Cliff surfing is a fun activity along with dealing with and overcoming fear, building trust and enhancing the experience of success. Duration of the activity 1-2 days.
Hiking – Guiding hiking trails combining tasks, varying degrees of difficulty, combining guidance on relevant topics such as: geology, vegetation, animals, settlement in the biblical and modern times, etc.
